Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026

VibeLenz reads conversations you choose to share and tells you what it sees. This page explains, in plain language, what we keep, who else is involved, and what you can ask us to do. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t post your chats anywhere.

Who we are

VibeLenz is operated by its founder, an individual based in the United States. For any question or request about your information, write to VibeLenz999@gmail.com.

Who can use VibeLenz

VibeLenz is for adults, 18 and older. It is not directed at anyone under 18.

What we collect

The conversations you analyze. When you upload screenshots, they are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to read the text out of them. We do not keep the image files. We do keep the text that was read (up to 8,000 characters per analysis), the results (scores, labels, and an internal estimate of where the conversation may be heading), the relationship type and screenshot side you picked, which link you arrived from if it carried tracking tags, and the time. Pasted text is handled the same way, minus the image step. Follow-up questions are answered by the same AI provider; we do not save them to our database.

What you type into the email form. If you fill in the form that appears after your first analysis, we store your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name and phone number. Only the email is required.

Feedback. If you tell us a result was or wasn’t accurate and add a note, we store that.

A cookie. We set one cookie, vl_vid. It holds a random ID, lasts up to one year, and is not readable by page scripts. It lets us count how many analyses a browser has run, note when that browser last visited so reminders can be timed, and connect the browser to the email form. It does not contain your name or email.

Storage on your device. The site keeps a few items in your browser’s local storage so “continue last conversation” and similar features work. These stay on your device.

Analytics. Our home and results pages use Google Analytics to count visits and basic actions (for example, a result was viewed or a share card was made). Our home page also loads fonts from Google. This privacy page loads no analytics and no outside fonts.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs. Our own logs record each analysis decision and can include short quoted excerpts of the conversation that the result was based on. We do not log IP addresses in our application code.

What we do with it

Produce your result and answer your follow-up questions.
Keep the service safe, and measure whether its results are accurate.
If you gave us your email: send a confirmation message, and then occasional reminders, app updates, and launch notices.

Improving VibeLenz with chats. We will not use anyone’s conversations to improve or train VibeLenz until we have built and tested a step that removes names and phone numbers first. Conversations collected before this notice went live are permanently excluded from that use.

Emails

Reminder and notice emails go only to addresses that were confirmed by clicking the link in our confirmation email. They never mention anything about what you analyzed. Every email contains a link to stop receiving them. If you don’t confirm, you get no reminders. Reminders are limited to one a day and up to seven in a row while you haven’t returned; coming back resets the count.

We store your phone number if you give it, but we do not currently send text messages. Before we ever do, we will ask for your separate permission.

Who else sees your information

Anthropic, our AI provider, processes screenshots, pasted text, and follow-up questions to produce results.
SendGrid delivers our emails, so it handles your email address and the message content.
Google provides analytics and fonts, as described above.
Railway, our hosting provider, runs our servers and database.

We don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We do not currently delete analysis text on a schedule. It stays until we delete it or you ask us to. We are working toward a fixed retention period and will update this page when there is one. Email details stay until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

Stop emails: use the link at the bottom of any email we send you.
Ask us to delete or correct your information: email VibeLenz999@gmail.com from the address you gave us. Deleting an email record is straightforward. Deleting a specific analysis is harder, because analyses are not tied to your identity; if you can tell us roughly when you ran it and what relationship type you chose, we will do our best to find and delete it.
Clear the cookie and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

Security

All traffic to VibeLenz uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t share more than you’re comfortable with.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date. If a change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you.
